In the modern age, experience with variety of applications are essential for creative professionals. As part of the professional development course, we explore the basics on how to navigate and use a variety of applications.

WATERCOLORS

The watercolor courses cover how to apply the fundamentals in a transparent media, how to layer to get different effects, and how to create finished work in a variety of styles. Learn how color theory applies to a transparent media. Explore different approaches for developing a painting from beginning to end.

DIGITAL PAINTING

This course begins with exploring a variety of applications and their digital workspaces, delves into how to navigate and use the app effectively, and explores a variety of technique to create digital paintings. Experience with drawing, painting, or a simultaneous subscription to the drawing course is recommended.

IDEATION

The ideation course will help you develop a methodical method for creatively developing and communicating ideas through visual media. Ideation can be broken into four stages, brainstorming, developing shape, movement and animation, and rendering. It is simply put, a course on innovation for artists.

OIL PAINTING

Learn how to build a painting by combining methods for working with transparent paint and opaque paint. Study a variety of painting methods used by the old masters to create different visual effects and styles. The oil painting courses have full length demonstrations on how to work with this media.

DRAWING

Tied into the drawing courses are the fundamental techniques and the beginners basics on how to get a likeness, portray form, use perspective, create compositions, handle value, and much more. The drawing classes show how to use a variety of media in diverse styles, and how to render.

Through our ever expanding course selections, you can choose what you want to learn. We have technique demonstrations, process summaries,  full length lessons, and recommended practices, and much more. We offer diverse courses with subjects that are family friendly.

Integrated with the basic tools and navigation for illustrator and in-design, our course covers creating images and layouts for printed products and marketing materials. This course is recommended for self publishers and anyone interested in creating marketing materials.
